​Artist Statement

 

As an artist, my practice is grounded in painting, but I often extend my work into drawing, sculpture, and multimedia. My creative process is deeply rooted in craftsmanship and conceptual thinking. Each piece is a careful balance between technical precision and a playful, often surprising, narrative.

 

I approach art as a space where ideas can shift between the serious and the humorous, where high skill meets a sense of trickery or wit. My work invites viewers to engage with the unexpected, whether it’s through a visual pun, an illusion, or a twist that challenges initial perceptions. For me, art is a way to explore not only the depths of a challenging concept but also the lighter, sometimes mischievous side of how we experience the world.

 

In all mediums, I strive to blend craft and concept seamlessly, aiming for work that not only looks meticulously made but also feels like it has something to say—whether it makes you think or laugh (or both).
